Many Teefey, Selena Gomez's Mom, Miscarried

It was less than a month ago Selena announced on her Twitter page that she was the happiest girl in the world as she was going to have a sibling. Unfortunately today, Friday, December 16th, that joy has been smothered.
Selena was in the audience at Power 106's Cali Christmas 2011 concert in Los Angeles moments ago, when she learned of her mother's tragic news. Mandy Teefey, Selena's mom, has suffered a miscarriage. The Disney beauty left the concert as fast as she could, and rushed home to be with her family. She was scheduled for two performances in Chicago this Saturday, and in Seattle on Sunday but this new "family emergency" has caused her to cancel all her current engagements to lend her support to her mom, and also to grieve.
Things happen Selena, and this is one event that was beyond anyone's control. We wish you and your family well in getting through this tough time.
